The membership of the Cleveland Teachers Union (CTU), A union of professional teachers, paraprofessionals, nurses, psychologists, speech language pathologists, therapists, sign language interpreters, and social workers, voted to endorse Councilman Kerry McCormack for re-election. CTU is a voice for safe, equipped, and nurturing learning environments in public schools. CTU strives to build community that has a thriving economy as well as good jobs and opportunity for all. “As a former educator myself, I understand how hard teachers work and the impact they have on our children and young people.” McCormack said. “The endorsement of the Cleveland Teachers Union means the world to me and I look forward to continuing our work together to strengthen education in Cleveland.”
